OUR PRAYER

We ask God to bless us with the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we seek to live out our calling to be proclaimers of the Good News.

Reconciling in Christ

The Reconciling in Christ program (RIC) is a means whereby Lutheran congregations declare themselves open and supportive of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) people and their families. This program began in 1983. In August of that year, Saint Paul was one of the first two congregations in the United States and the first west of the Mississippi to become RIC; today there are more than 150 such congregations and Synods.

We were a founding member of Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries (formerly Lutheran Lesbian & Gay Ministries [LLGM]). Click here for more infomation.

Here at St. Paul, GLBT people are not only encouraged but expected to participate in every aspect of the life and ministry of the congregation. Approximately 20% of our members are also part of the GLBT community.
